Sponsorship Opportunities

Rider Sponsorships:

Ride with Pride relies on donations from individuals, foundations and corporations to support the program. A "Ridership" is the means by which Ride with Pride provides financial assistance to clients and families unable to pay the full lesson fee. Many families are unable to pay even the subsidized fee. Riderships are instrumental in making equine-enriched educational opportunities for people with disabilities available to everyone. At Ride with Pride, we know that families with children or adults with disabilities incur additional expenses for equipment, special diets, therapies, tutoring, and a variety of other costs not covered by insurance. Our belief in the therapeutic value of our programs drives us to secure funding to ensure that no client misses out on this opportunity because of funding limitations. It is our policy that no client is turned away due to inability to pay his or her lesson fees.

Ride with Pride provides lessons for riders with widely varying abilities. Each rider has a different level of need and therefore the true cost for each rider is different. However the average lesson costs us $111 and the average reimbursement from the riders to us is $26. We subsidize the difference of $85 per lesson.

Annual Fund/unrestricted:

Each December we mail a request to all supporters for a donation that is unrestricted so that the funds may be used in the best possible way to accomplish our mission. 2010 was the first direct mailing with a wonderful response. We appreciate your support.

Horse Sponsorship:

Everyone loves our horses - they are the foundation. You have the opportunity to sponsor any of our horses. The average monthly cost of a horse is $450. Average monthly costs associated with the horses include board ($300), shoeing ($50 - $70), supplements ($50), immunizations and worming ($25), and the occasional need for a veterinarian. Half-sponsorships are also welcomed. As the sponsor your name is listed on the stall and you have the option of being it's special buddy. Take a look at them by clicking here.

Fund-raising Event Sponsorships:

Concert in the Canyon - Our fall fund-raiser is held annually at Browns Canyon Ranch. Sponsorship could be targeted to any component of this event; for instance, the band - The Doo Wah Riders, the dance floor, food/drinks, and silent auction support.
