Application Process

We are eager for you to join our incredible group of volunteers - here is how to get started:

1) All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age - there are exceptions for those 12 and older if they have experience with horses. Click here to review and download Volunteer Information and Release forms. (If you are under 18, a parent/guardian signature is required on the Release form.)

2) A volunteer training session will be scheduled each session. To sign up for the next training call (818) 885-8138 for dates.

3) Please bring the forms with you on your first visit to the ranch. You cannot help with lessons until both forms are signed and your volunteer training is complete. However, we can give you a tour and introduce you to our staff, horses and volunteers. This is a good time to learn about the many different ways you can help.

4) At the conclusion of your volunteer training, you will be asked to sign up for a class time that is convenient for you. We would like your minimum commitment to be one 1.5 hour lesson each week for 8 weeks.
